Bomectin Antiparasitic Injection is a broad spectrum parasiticide for beef cattle and non-lactating dairy cows, as well as pigs. It contains ivermectin, a macrocyclic lactone endectocide that has activity against adult and larval stages of parasitic nematodes, as well as susceptible external parasites.
Key Product Benefits:
Dosage and Administration:
CATTLE: Dosage is 1mL/50kg liveweight by subcutaneous injection in the neck.
PIGS: Dosage is 1mL/33kg liveweight by subcutaneous injection in the neck.
If possible, administer high on the neck behind the ear. Do not use intravenously or intramuscularly. Do not underdose.
Always read and follow label directions.
Withholding Periods:
MEAT (PIGS & CATTLE): DO NOT USE less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.
MILK: DO NOT USE in lactating cows or within 28 days of calving where milk or milk products may be used or processed for human consumption.
EXPORT SLAUGHTER INTERVAL (ESI): DO NOT USE less than 42 days before slaughter for export.
Pack Size: 500 mL
Why Choose Bomectin Injection?
Bomectin Injection treats and controls ivermectin-sensitive internal parasites including gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, eyeworms, sucking lice, mites and cattle tick in cattle, and gastrointestinal roundworms, kidney worms, lungworms, lice and mites in pigs. It offers some sustained parasite control for internal parasites in cattle as well (refer to the label).
Bomectin Injection Important Information
Bomectin Injection is effective against ivermectin-susceptible parasites, but resistance may develop to any drench. Consult your veterinarian for detailed advice on a parasite control program.
