CLEAR Dog Treats Shark Cartilage Powder is a natural and healthy treat for your best friend, made from only Australian shark cartilage.
There are countless nutrients found in shark cartilage such as omega 3 fatty acids (for joint and skin health), calcium (for bone health/healthy joints), and protein (for muscle health), to name a few. A great source of Chondroitin Sulphate, Glucosamine Sulphate, Protein & Calcium, Cartilage Powder is great to sprinkle over the food of dogs suffering from afflictions, such as arthritis and other joint pain.
DOSAGE: See below for a daily guide of powder. Once results are seen (normally 4-6 weeks) you can reduce to a maintenance amount of 50-80% of the dose. Dosage is a guide and can be varied depending on your dog’s results. However, results vary and there are no guarantees that your dog will see improvements. CLEAR Dog Treats shark products are either 100% North Queensland Black Tip or Australian Gummy shark. These are both common sharks in Australia caught using sustainable practices with quota’s strictly managed by the Australian Fisheries. They are declared as least concern by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). They are very common in our Australian waters and not endangered. No threatened shark species used in CLEAR Dog products.
Firstly, please also note that these fish are primarily caught for human consumption. Often referred to as flake in fish and chip shops, CLEAR Dog mainly use the non-human consumption leftovers which would otherwise be discarded. Therefore nothing is wasted. Secondly, endangered sharks are not caught to use just their fins, tails or skin for dog products! In conclusion, CLEAR Dog use the leftovers of common sustainably fished Australian shark used for human consumption.
