The Ranvet Oral Doser for Horses is well made, sturdy, and works very well. It needs smaller graduations on the barrel eg every 2 mls, as I use it to dose goats, not horses. The graduation marks need to be coloured so that they are easier to see. Otherwise, a very handy piece of equipment that is well worth having.
I had two ‘hard to worm‘ horses who needed a 5-day treatment plus ongoing oral meds.( Previously had to give them granules and they freaked out with plastic syringes). I conditioned them with this doser and dilute molasses and they now ASK for their meds! Literally a life changer! (They still freak out with plastic syringes though!)
The Ranvet Oral Doser is an easy to use, convenient oral doser for the administration of oral supplements and medications in horses.
Features:
Benefits:
Ranvet’s Oral Doser is available in 50mL capacity, marked in 5mL graduations.
Directions For Use:
Place contents desired for administration into the barrel. Position the end of the curved, brass canula to the back of the horse’s mouth over cheek teeth and dispel contents ensuring the horse swallows.
