Hill's Prescription Diet Canine l/d

We use the hills prescription diet I'd liver care for our dog & it works very well.

This is a tinned product suggested by the vet.I add a small amount to the dog's normal food ( a mixture of hard and soft ingredients)on a daily basis.

Our nine-month old Shih Tzu cross has a portal shunt which reduces his liver function. While we're saving up to afford surgery, this food reduces stress on his liver. He likes to eat it, though it doesn't look very appetising. It can be hard to get out of the can due to its relatively dry consistency and the cans have no ring-pull, so can opener is needed.
