Bioscape Tropic's Velocity range of internal power filters is designed to keep your fish tank water clean and healthy for your fish.
Suitable for freshwater and saltwater.
Contains the following media:
Black Foam: to remove dirt and debris.
Activated Carbon: Removes chlorine, tannins and phenols harmful to fish.
Phosphate Pad: Removes phosphate that results from uneaten food, plant debris and fish waste. All can cause unwanted algae growth.
The filter also includes an air inlet pipe and regulator which can be optionally attached to the outflow to increase the oxygenation of the tank water.
To change the filter media, the filter can be taken apart in segments and the old media swapped for new.
As a guide to media replacement frequency, the manufacturer suggests:
Replacement media and spare parts available.

400 - Suited for Aquariums up to 40L
700 - Suited for Aquariums up to 70L
1000 - Suited for Aquariums up to 100L
1500 - Suited for Aquariums up to 150L
