By elevating the bowl it can take strain off your cat's neck and spine, making it comfortable while eating/drinking. Also, by elevating your cat's bowl it allows them to swallow with the aid of gravity to get their food down to their stomach which can help with digestive difficulties.

Not only can an elevated bowl aid with digestion and take strain off the body, but its extra height can help prevent some dirt, fur and dust particles from getting into your cat’s food or water, making for a more hygienic feeding area.

This bowl can be removed from the base for easy cleaning (Hand Wash Only).
